Ariela Caglio graduated cum laude at Bocconi University, where, in 2001, she got a PhD in Business Administration and Management. As an Associate Professor of Management Accounting and Control, she leverages more than 15 years of experience at Bocconi University and SDA Bocconi School of Management, as well as at other prestigious Institutions such as the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the University of Manchester. She is currently the Director of the Bachelor of Science in International Economics and Management (BIEM) of Bocconi University. Her research and professional interests primarily rest in sustainability and Integrated Reporting, performance measurement and control systems, and compensation design. She is particularly fascinated by studying the complex uses of management accounting in supply chains, fashion companies, the football industry and the impact of digitalization. She has published for prestigious academic and professional outlets. She has trusted expertise in teaching, at undergraduate, graduate, MBA and executive levels, in the areas of business planning and budgeting, performance evaluation and management, and cost accounting. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of two listed companies in Italy.
