Baraka is a Certified Public Accountant in Public Practice (Tanzania) and a Chartered Accountant (Australia). Baraka also holds a Masters in Business Administration (Griffith University) and is a registered tax consultant (Tanzania) and certified tax adviser (Australia).
Prior to Cassian and Associates, Baraka worked with KPMG (Australia) and practised in Tanzania . Baraka has a significant experience in accounting principles within the region having worked in different countries. This experience has given him a wide knowledge in different functional areas. He has been involved in tax advisory services in various industries such as Insurance, Banking, Textile, Auto, Publication, Media, Logistics, Energy, and Power.
He has a vast tax consulting experience of more than 7 years having been involved in a variety of tax advisory assignments which include due diligence investigations, comprehensive tax reviews, tax health checks, regulatory audits, and general tax advisory services to a consortium of clients.
