Caroline Aggestam Pontoppidan holds a PhD in Business Administration and is currently Associate Professor at the Department of Accounting & Auditing at the Copenhagen Business School (CBS). Her research pertains to both private and public sector accounting as well as non-financial reporting. She is working on questions regarding the governance and instutionalisation of standards and frameworks in different contexts. In addition she is the Academic Director of the CBS PRME Principles of Responsible Management Education Under (under the coordination of the UN Global Compact) working with the embedding of sustainability and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in education.
