Asian-Oceanian Standard-Setters Group
Dr. Huaxin Xu serves as the head of the Secretariat of the Asian-Oceanian Standard-Setters Group (AOSSG), taking charge of coordinating the internal affairs of the AOSSG and the external activities or other events between the AOSSG and other international /regional organizations.
Dr. Xu has been working in the Ministry of Finance since 2009. He plays a leading role in the research activities of the Chinese Accounting Standards Committee (CASC). He used to work in the IFRS Foundation from 2015 to 2016, as a visiting fellow, participating in the researching and developing of the IFRS Standards.
Dr. Xu has a PhD in accounting from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
