ISAR is a UN global forum of policy-makers, regulators, standard-setters and lead experts in the area of enterprise accounting and reporting. It helps Member States and other stakeholders to learn and share good practices from around the world and address key challenges in their implementation; provides consensus-based approaches towards developing policy frameworks and guiding tools on enhancing the role of financial and non-financial reporting in attaining the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development with a view to strengthening financial stability, improving financial inclusion, addressing environmental and societal concerns by integration of the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) information into companies reporting cycle, assisting countries in data collection on the private sector contribution to the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals.
