Richard V. Rothenberg is Executive Director at Global A.I., a company that uses Big Data and Artificial Intelligence for sustainable finance and to measure and benchmark Companies and Countries against the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Previously, Richard worked as a quantitative portfolio manager and researcher at multi-billion dollar hedge funds and global investment banks, including Deutsche Bank and other premier institutions. He is a Research Affiliate at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, one of the world’s largest supercomputing laboratories. In addition, he is a participant in the UN Global Compact Financial Innovation Action Platform and he served in the Expert Group for the UN Science, Technology and Innovation for the SDGs, a leading multi-stakeholder mechanism to leverage state-of-the-art technologies for the SDGs. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Computational Finance from the Monterrey Institute of Technology, a Certificate of Quantitative Finance from the CQF Institute, and an MBA in Quantitative Finance from Columbia University in New York City.
